A Discussion with Jordan Schnitzer, Collector and Philanthropist

We hope you will join us for the reception, beginning at 5:30 P.M., in honor of Frank Stella Prints: A Retrospective and Jordan Schnitzer. Afterwards, please stay for a discussion with the man who collected the art, organized the exhibition, made it available to museums for free, and funded the newly revised catalog raisonné of Stella’s prints by Rick Axsom, Frank Stella Prints (2014.)
Schnitzer will share personal insights about building his unparalleled collection of Stella prints, part of a larger collection of contemporary works on paper that he offers as a lending library for museums to display. Schnitzer will also reveal the joys of working with Stella and affiliated arts professionals, including artist and master-print maker Ken Tyler. Additionally the program will examine the diverse stylistic explorations and serial working manner of the modern master over Stella’s long career.
